What are the Directions to Broadway Chiropractic Center?

From the north: Take I-25 south to the Alameda exit. Go east (left) over the interstate. Go eastbound on Alameda Ave. to the stop light at

From the south: Take I-25 north to the Lincoln/Broadway exit. Exit and go north on Lincoln for 3 blocks until Virginia Ave.  Go west (left) on Virginia and across Broadway into the Broadway Marketplace shopping center.  We are located in the northeast corner of the Pep Boys building between Sams Club and Ace Hardware.

From Downtown: Take Broadway south toward I-25.  Just south of Alameda turn right into the Broadway Marketplace shopping center.  We are located in the northeast corner of the Pep Boys building between Sams Club and Ace Hardware.

How does Chiropractic work and what can Chiropractic help me with?

Chiropractic works by removing interference to the most important and most overlooked system in the body -- The Nervous System. Your nervous system controls all function and all healing in the body. Your brain sends nerve messages (power) down your spinal cord to every tissue, cell, and organ system in your body and gives them life. Your spine surrounds and protects the spinal cord with 24 movable bones. When your spine is healthy and well aligned, your nervous system works extremely efficiently and good communication from brain to body exists.  When your nervous system functions at 100% you have good healing going on inside which translates to good health. However, when the spine is ignored and allowed to decay and degenerate due to misalignments of the spinal bones (a condition known as subluxation), a state of dis-ease can occur in the body.

Misalignments of the spine not only cause degeneration and decay, but they also cause pressure and pathological tension to your nerves and spinal cord. This results in abnormal function of the nervous system. When nerve flow (power) is reduced and you have poor power to the body parts and organ systems, you have poor healing which results in poor health. One would not expect their heart or stomach, for example, to be healthy if they were doing 100% of the work on 50% of the power. It would only be an amount of time before they would start to breakdown and have abnormal function. Chiropractic improves spinal function which allows for better nervous system function. By allowing your nervous system to function more normally, chiropractic can help with a wide variety of health problems and complaints. Call our office and schedule an examination to find out if your health problems could be related to your spine and nervous system.

How long does it take to get adjusted?

Spinal adjustments are safe, gentle, painless, and only take minutes.

How often do I need to get adjusted?

This depends on several factors: How long the problem has been there, the amount of spinal decay/degeneration present in your spine, the type of spinal degeneration, any history of trauma to your body and your age.


When will I feel better?

Everyone heals at different rates.  Your symptoms are a result of abnormal function. Normal functioning tissue does not give you any symptoms. When normal function is restored to the nervous system, you have strong healing going on in your body. Strong healing translates to strong health. This is why it is so important to take care of your spine. So that you function your best and stay feeling your best. 

What are your fees for care?

Our care is very affordable for most people. We have family care plans as well as individual care plans. Once we identify your problem and design a care plan to correct them, we will go over your care plan options with you and your family.  

Will my health insurance cover a portion of my care?

Since insurance benefits vary greatly from policy to policy, we can not give you a definite answer here. However, we do assist you in finding out your coverage information and will let you know before you start care. If you do not have any insurance coverage or very limited benefits. No problem. We offer care plans for those without or with little insurance coverage.

If I was in a motor vehicle accident, who is responsible for paying for my care?

When you come in to the office we will get some information from you concerning your accident. We will also help you determine who is responsible for paying for your care.


If I was injured at work, who is responsible for paying for my care?

This is most likely a worker's compensation claim. Dr. Madden is a level 1 certified worker's compensation practitioner. When you come in to the office we will get some information from you concerning your injury. We will also help you determine who is responsible for paying for your care.


Should my entire family get regular Chiropractic care?

Absolutely. Good health is not just for one member of the family. Everyone can benefit from regular chiropractic care. There is no such thing as too young or too old for receiving Chiropractic Adjustments. Chiropractic patients range in years from birth to over 100+years old.  When spinal bones become misaligned (Subluxated) it causes irritation or pressure to nerves. This causes dis-ease in the nervous system. This process is known as a Vertebral Subluxation and can lead to spinal degeneration (Osteoarthritis), decay, and spinal deformities even in young children. The very first major stress to our spines is the birth process. The birth process can cause trauma to the neck and spine of an infant. If spinal misalignments are left uncorrected, they may disturb the delicate brain stem, spinal cord and nerves which control the infant's muscles and organs. An early chiropractic checkup can detect spinal misalignments while they are still easily correctable and prevent spinal degeneration and decay. By correcting and maintaining a healthier spine, children as well as adults can have a better functioning nervous system, stronger immune system, and stronger healing. Stronger healing leads to stronger health and a healthy spine equals a healthier you.

Is it safe for my children to get adjusted? 

Yes. Chiropractic is extremely safe and gentle for children.  Chiropractic has a much safer track record than prescription and over the counter medication. Chiropractic is so safe that Chiropractors pay a fraction of what other healthcare providers pay for malpractice insurance.
